InterAct International

InterAct International, founded in 1995, is a training and market research firm based in the South West of England. The company has had extensive experience in preparing people for international trade and in implementing detailed surveys of UK businesses. We work closely with and conduct regular research and consultancy for Trade Partners UK, British Chambers of Commerce, Regional Chambers of Commerce, the European Commission, CILT, LNTO and many Regional Development Agencies and Business Support Centres.

The company is also highly experienced at running European funded projects, which have included the Leonardo projects of PROTOCOL – which involves the training of language auditors across Europe - REFLECT – a review of foreign language needs and skills - and EURICA – an adaptation of the successful Export Communications Review taught by the British Chambers of Commerce on cultural and language needs for small businesses who trade internationally.

In 2005- 2006 Interact undertook on behalf of the European Commission the largest European survey on small and medium sized enterprises to examine the gaps in foreign language skills and to identify existing intercultural barriers among cross-border trading companies. The results were compelling and the report can be downloaded for free under products.

Interact also writes and disseminates language training materials for UK schools and businesses, which can be found under Products. This is a relatively new side to the company with interesting materials such as the Plurilingua module.
