EMCON is an annual engineering and manufacturing showcase and the biggest cross-sector show in North East England.<\/p>\n
The new product \u2013 \u201cProcess History\u201d is the next generation in product conformance capturing \u2013 Like its current tool \u201cShopfloor Software\u201d, it is a fully configurable, paperless and embedded carbon assessed.\u00a0Designed to fully remove paper-based history packs, the patented tool will not just record conformity but allow real time data to be reviewed to improve productivity.<\/p>\n
This announcement marks a full-circle moment for SMS Tech, whose origins trace back to EMCON 2021. It was at this pivotal event that Smart Manufacturing Solutions (SMS) \u2013 the parent company of SMS Tech \u2013 connected with digital transformation specialists Scale Digital Ventures. That conversation sparked a collaboration that led to the creation of SMS Tech, combining deep operational expertise with cutting-edge digital innovation to transform shop floor operations. SMS Tech now has split from both parent companies and stands independently but with the same focus of digital simplification.<\/p>\n
