Game changing advances in subsea engineering are explored in a new podcast from North East-based international B2B marketing company Horizon Works.<\/p>\n

The sixth episode of the company\u2019s Invented Podcast, entitled World Firsts and Worldwide Impact, sees Horizon Works Managing Director, Samantha Vassallo, interview Paul Davison, Deputy CEO of subsea engineering specialist SMD.<\/p>\n

Recorded at the Energi Coast Regional Supply Chain Showcase at Newcastle\u2019s historic Boiler Shop venue \u2013 once home to George Stephenson\u2019s locomotive works \u2013 the podcast covers SMD\u2019s groundbreaking work, from helping to protect the world\u2019s telecommunications cables through developing subsea ploughs, to creating a cloud-based solution for operating subsea machinery.<\/p>\n

The episode also sheds light on SMD\u2019s culture of \u2018boundless creativity\u2019.<\/p>\n
