At The Engineering & Manufacturing Network we love to hear about collaborations between our members and this one highlights the value of our community brilliantly!

Lockton one of our Affiliate members informed EMN members earlier this year about the softening of the insurance market leading to rates decreasing and flagging that nearly all insurance programmes should be reducing premiums.

Facilitated by EMN, several companies including Dyer Engineering spoke to Lockton about 2025 renewal insurance needs and as a result Lockton were able to save Dyer circa 40% on their insurance programme.

Laurence Provost Financial Director of Dyer said “We are delighted not only with the savings Lockton have achieved but also the service we have received. Lockton promised they would be able to make us a substantial saving on our insurance needs and they did just that. The transfer to Lockton was seamless and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending other EMN members”.

Colin Donohoe , Senior Producer of Lockton said “Dyer Engineering are a professional company we have always kept a close eye on in recent years believing we could make savings for them on their insurance programme. We’re very grateful to them for giving us the opportunity to help them on their needs and thus managing to save them a considerable amount for this years renewal. We look forward to working with Dyer for many years to come. The insurance market is so soft at present and we believe there are savings to be made across the board for all EMN members”.

Lockton are the worlds largest independent insurance broker and as an EMN member Lockton are happy to provide a no fee due diligence critique on your insurance programme, please just contact EMN for more information.

At EMN we love to hear about collaborations between our members and affiliates and we hereby provide you with details on a recent collaboration between our member Dyer Engineering and Lockton Insurance Brokers , our affiliate insurance broker

Lockton approached EMN earlier this year to provide some market intel on the insurance market , in essence we have entered into a very soft market which in turn means rates are decreasing and nearly all insurance programmes should be reducing in premium.

Dyer Engineering were a company on Locktons radar and dialogue began between the two companies, facilitated by EMN ,  regarding Dyers 2025 renewal of their insurance needs. After a couple of meetings Dyer allowed Lockton to provide an alternative to their existing broker.

Lockton ended up saving Dyer circa 40% on their insurance programme.

Laurence Provost Financial Director of Dyer said “We are delighted not only with the savings Lockton have achieved but also the service we have received , Lockton promised they would be able to make us a substantial saving on our insurance needs and they did just that. The transfer to Lockton was seamless and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending other EMN members to avail of their services”
